Information about AZR
Aaron "AZR" Ward is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Australia. He began his competitive career shortly after the game’s release in 2012. On October 15 of that year, he joined Vox Eminor, he spent more than three years competing there.
On June 17, 2015, he briefly joined Legion, but only two days later the entire roster was signed by Renegades and relocated to the United States. During his years with Renegades, AZR established himself as a dependable leader known for his decision-making and consistency. Under his leadership, the team became one of the strongest representatives of the Oceanic Counter-Strike scene.
In late 2019, the Renegades roster transferred to 100 Thieves. On January 24, 2021, AZR joined EXTREMUM, later continuing his career with Encore in 2022. On March 3, 2023, Aaron moved to Sprout, expanding his experience in the European scene. Then, on August 2, 2024, he joined TALON, continuing his long competitive career in Counter-Strike. In 2025 he joined FlyQuest as a coach.
