Brandon “Dashy” Otell is a professional Call of Duty player and one of the most mechanically gifted stars in the scene. Born on April 19, 1999, in Canada, Dashy is of Lebanese descent and began playing video games at a very young age. He first developed his skills in titles like Halo before discovering Call of Duty, where he quickly showed exceptional talent especially with a sniper rifle. His early years were spent grinding competitive sniping, building the foundation for his future professional career. Dashy’s rise to prominence began during the Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 3 era, where he gained recognition online for his raw aim and highlight-worthy plays. He transitioned into professional competition around 2017, playing for teams like compLexity Gaming and later OpTic Gaming. It was during his time with OpTic that he truly became a star, winning events and earning MVP honors, including at the CWL Las Vegas Open 2019. Known for his aggressive playstyle and incredible accuracy, Dashy has often been considered one of the most talented “slayers” in Call of Duty esports. Over the years, he has played for several top-tier teams, including OpTic Gaming, OpTic Chicago, Chicago Huntsmen, and OpTic Texas, competing at the highest level of the Call of Duty League. Throughout his career, he has achieved multiple major tournament victories, earned individual awards such as MVPs, and been selected to All-Star teams multiple times. He is also a world champion, winning top-tier events like the Call of Duty League Championship and Esports World Cup in recent years. Beside his CoD career he streams CS2 on Twitch almost everyday.
