Alexey "NickelBack" Trofimov is a professional Counter-Strike 2 player from Russia who began his esports career in 2016 with EYESports. During his early years on the scene, he represented s4s and RuSh3D. He also spent time with Team1337 and briefly played for Team Spirit Academy. In November 2017, he joined Elements Pro Gaming, although his time there lasted only a few months. Later, in June 2018, he became part of Monolith Gaming.

On May 8, 2019, he joined pro100, followed by a move to Winstrike Team in August 2020. After leaving the organization in March 2021, Alexey continued his journey with the Czech organization Entropiq on May 10, 2021. Nearly two years later, on February 15, 2023, he joined 1WIN team. Alexey Toward the end of 2023, NickelBack became part of Amkal Esports on December 28. His career continued evolving with a move to WHITEBIRD on December 1, 2025, and on March 18, 2026, he joined SPARTA, where he still plays today.
