Information about Tarik
Tarik “tarik” Celikis is a Counter-Strike 2 streamer from United States. He is one of the most recognizable personalities in Counter-Strike and Valorant. Born on February 18, 1996, in Brooklyn, New York, tarik is an American player of Turkish descent who first made his name in the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene.
He began his professional career in 2014 and quickly rose through North America’s ranks thanks to his aggressive rifling style, confidence, and ability to make high-impact plays. Throughout his career, tarik played for several well-known teams, including OpTic Gaming, Cloud9, MIBR, and Evil Geniuses. His biggest achievement came in 2018 when he won the ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 with Cloud9, becoming the first North American player to win a CS:GO Major on home soil. He was also named the MVP of that tournament, a historic accomplishment for an American player. After years at the top level and earning over $750,000 in prize money, tarik stepped away from professional Counter-Strike around 2021 to focus on content creation. His transition was highly successful-he became one of the biggest FPS streamers on Twitch, known for his entertaining personality, watch parties, and strong connection with the community. In 2022, he joined Sentinels as a content creator, where he primarily streams Valorant while still remaining closely tied to the Counter-Strike scene.
Today, tarik is often called the “Content King” by fans. He is known not only for his past achievements as a Major-winning pro but also for his influence as a streamer, co-stream host, and one of the most important figures in modern FPS esports culture.
